Join the National CASA Performance Measurement and Evaluation team on November 15, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. (PT) for their second in a series of webinars about the role of logic models at the national, state and local levels. Special guests Dr. Rose Ann Renteria and Dr. Brad Rose will review:

  • Principles of logic modeling
  • Going deep with logic modeling
  • Basics of evaluation
There will be time at the end for Q&A on issues of interest to individual programs.

REMINDER - 2017 Awards of Excellence Nominations and National Conference Scholarship Applications Deadline 12/2

The National CASA Association is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Awards of Excellence.

These awards honor the exceptional contributions and dedication of our volunteers, program directors, judges and board members, as well as the vision of CASA/GAL programs in piloting diversity and inclusion practices and innovative programming on behalf of children. We encourage you to nominate outstanding individuals and programs in your community.

Visit our Awards Page to learn more and to begin the nomination process. The firm deadline for nominations is Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. (PT). This is your opportunity to recognize the outstanding people and practices that you’re your CASA/GAL program extraordinary!

CASA/GAL volunteers and staff can also apply for scholarships to attend the 2017 conference taking place March 11-14. Scholarship recipients will be scheduled to assist the National CASA Association team for a few hours during the conference with various duties (e.g. registration table, information booth, workshop proctor). The deadline for scholarship applications is also Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. (PT).

REMINDER - Membership Renewal Deadline 12/31

The National CASA Association appreciates your commitment to best interest advocacy for abused and neglected children in the court system. We look forward to continuing to serve you as a full member of the National CASA Association, a nationwide network of 943 state and local member programs that support nearly 77,000 CASA/GAL volunteers and serve more than 250,000 children.

Invoices for membership dues were mailed out on September 30, 2016. Please note the final deadline is December 31, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. (PT). Read more.

Two new web pages have been added to the website with new marketing resources.

SLOGANS: There are a number of slogans that can be used with the CASA/GAL logo, in accordance with National CASA Brand Standards. Read more.
