The Hearst FoundationsThe Hearst Foundations provided substantial funding to our Urban Initiative, which resulted in a significant increase in the capacity of CASA programs to serve more children in the nation's largest metropolitan areas. Most recently, a generous grant from the foundation focused on two areas: The CASA Connects technology project, which provides resources and promotes best practices among volunteers across the country through this information rich website, and a new training curriculum to support local programs’ ability to recruit, train and manage more volunteers.
