Toy Industry Brings Fun and Games to Boston Area Kids

Thanks to the Toy Industry Foundation, 100 children who are currently making their way through the foster and court systems in New England were treated to a fun-filled event on December 7 called Play Your Part.

More than 75 volunteers from regional toy companies (such as LEGO, Hasbro, Little Kids Inc., Schylling, and MasterPieces Puzzle Co.) were on hand to help run holiday-themed games and activities as well as distribute free toys generously donated by toy manufacturers and retailers.

After the event, area CASA programs distributed additional donated toys and games to more than 1,000 children who are currently being served by a CASA volunteer around New England. This was the third Play Your Part this year hosted by the Toy Industry Foundation and National CASA. Previous events took place in Chicago and Los Angeles.
