Jewelers for Children

Jewelers for Children LogoJewelers for Children (JFC) is the industry organization of jewelry retailers, manufacturers, watch companies and trade associations. Engaged with more than 3,400 companies, JFC is a leading private supporter of the National CASA Association and its member programs.

Last year, 14 local CASA programs received Jewelers for Children “Champions for Abused Children” grants. These funds allowed each program to increase their capacity to recruit and train new volunteers and to offer additional training to current staff and volunteers, resulting in more children being served overall. Since 2004, JFC-funded programs have continued to serve more children and have more volunteers than before JFC provided their grants.

In the past 12 years, JFC has donated $8.5 million dollars resulting in:

3,420 new CASA volunteers
10,595 children directly served
628 communities supported

The US Department of Justice has supported CASA advocacy since 1985 through its Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
