Board Member Application Letter

Dear >>>>>>

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of Directors of the (CASA/GAL program). Our organization is doing incredible work in the field of child advocacy for the court in (name) county (or judicial district). This work would not be possible without the support of the community volunteers who serve on our governing board.

Please take a few minutes to complete the enclosed board member application and then return it to us either by mail or email. We hope to hear back from you by (date).

Once we receive your completed application, it will be forwarded to our board’s nominating committee and a representative will be in contact with you in the next few weeks.

Again, thank you for considering a role in our organization and the work we do for the children of this community. If you have any questions, please contact me at either (phone) or (email).

(Board president)
