Celebrity spokespeople endorse the work of National CASA and CASA volunteers, encouraging their audiences to make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children.

Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw

Dr. Phil and RobinAs spokespeople for National CASA since 2008, psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw and his wife, Robin McGraw, have worked to make CASA a household word by repeatedly featuring the CASA cause on their television show and website. Their support has generated record numbers of volunteer inquiries and informed millions of people about the work of CASA programs.

Judge Glenda Hatchett

Judge HatchettA longtime spokesperson for National CASA, celebrity judge and author Glenda Hatchett has spread the CASA message through her participation in national events and media tours. She has inspired countless CASA volunteers by delivering inspirational keynote speeches at National CASA Annual Conferences and by authoring a quarterly column in National CASA's Connection magazine.

 

 

Anthony Hamilton

Anthony HamiltonIn 2010, Grammy Awardwinning R&B recording artist Anthony Hamilton became a spokesperson for the National CASA Association. Through the use of a radio PSA, Hamilton is working to recruit African American male volunteers for CASA programs. He promoted the CASA cause in his 2010 summer concert tour. 

 

Jimmy Wayne

In March 2011, Jimmy Wayne became the newest spokesperson for the National CASA Association. An alum of foster care himself, Wayne gives tirelessly of his time to support older youth in the child welfare system. In 2010, he walked over 1,700 miles from Nashville, TN, to Phoenix, AZ, to raise awareness of homeless youth and children in care. His Meet Me Halfway campaign has been profiled by the media across the country. Wayne performed at the 2011 National CASA conference and has spoken regularly about the cause on television and radio as well as during performances.
