New Funding Opportunity—February 22 Deadline The Corporation for National and Community Service has issued a notice of funding availability regarding grants to launch new RSVP projects in communities not served and expand existing programs. RSVP service projects recruit volunteers age 55 and over. These Senior Corps RSVP grants must result in recruitment of an average of 300 new volunteers, so applications may be best coordinated at the state level. Submission of a concept paper is required. Applicants submitting successful concept papers will be invited to submit full applications. The concept paper deadline is February 22 at 5:00 ET. Read full details at the nationalservice.gov website. New Podcast Focuses on Kinship Placement Many times the option of placing a foster child in a family member's home is available but overlooked.
