As a courtesy to other conference attendees, please reserve only the number of hotel rooms that you will utilize. Attendees who block multiple rooms remove these room out of the hotel inventory and therefore others cannot utilize these rooms.
Hotel Information
The 2012 National CASA Conference will take place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. All conference activities (unless otherwise noted in the schedule) will take place at the hotel including workshops, general sessions and all meal functions.
Rates
Single/Double Occupancy: $224 for single or double occupancy or the prevailing government per diem rate in June 2012. Triple occupancy is $264 and quadruple occupancy is $284. This rate does not include the appropriate state and local taxes (currently 14.50%). Special conference room rates are available June 7-13, depending upon space and rate availability. Reservations must be made prior to May 15, 2012, to receive the special rates. Please make your reservations as early as possible as there are a limited number of rooms available at this rate and may sell out.

You may also book your hotel room by calling the Omni Shoreham Hotel at 1-800-THE-OMNI (1-800-843-6664), attendee code "CASA." You must mention that you are part of the National CASA Association Annual Conference in order to receive this rate. Please note a credit card number is required to guarantee your room reservation. Please contact the hotel directly to make any changes or cancellations.
Based on availability, room and bedding requests are honored on a first come, first served basis and cannot be guaranteed. Please call the hotel directly for suite upgrades. The Omni Shoreham Hotel is in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act. For special arrangements, please contact National CASA.

National CASA has partnered with GO Airport Shuttle to offer conference attendees discounted airport shuttle transportation.
New this year! Discount now applies to both departure and destination cities! Arrange for shuttle to and from the airport in both Washington, DC, and your home airport. Take advantage of the national discount on both ends.
Shuttle arrangements must be made online prior to departure to Washington, DC. Please consult the GO Airport Shuttle if they service your departure airport.
Airport and Ground Transportation Information
Three major airports service the Washington, DC metro area.
Regan National Airport (DCA): is located approximated eight miles away from the Omni Shoreham Hotel and is the most conveniently located airport. Located directly on the Metro Blue, it provides travelers a cost effective method of transportation. If you take the metro your destination stop is Woodley Park on the Red line (please note you will transfer at Metro Station to get on the Red Line). Taxis and shuttle options are also available.
Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): is approximately 30 miles from the Omni Shoreham Hotel. There are also many options for public transportation, shuttles and taxis.
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI): is approximately 50 miles away from the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Travelers can take the MARC or AMTRAK from BWI to Union Station in DC and continue to Woodley Park Metro stop along the Red line.

Parking Information
Parking at the Omni Shoreham Hotel is currently $33 plux tax. All attendees are urged to take public transportation or carpool to help reduce costs and impact on the environment.
Driving Directions
From Regan National Airport
Follow George Washington Parkway Northbound to Washington, D.C. Continue past the Pentagon to the Memorial Bridge. While on the Bridge, merge into right lane and exit at Independence Drive. Follow Independence Drive back under the bridge along the Potomac River (this becomes Rock Parkway). Merge into left lane. Road splits after passing under Bridge, merge left. Road splits again, continue to merge left. First traffic light is Calvert Street. Turn left onto Calvert Street. The hotel is located on the left.
From Washington Dulles International Airport
Take the Dulles Airport Toll Road to Route 66 East. Proceed East on Route 66. After crossing the Roosevelt Bridge and entering Washington, D.C., exit onto Constitution Avenue. Stay on Constitution then make a left onto 18th Street. Then make a left onto Connecticut Avenue. You will go through an underpass under Dupont Circle. After you pass the Hilton on your right, you will go 1 mile, crossing over the Taft Bridge and Rock Creek Park. At the end of the bridge, make a left onto Calvert Street. The hotel will be on your left.
From Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport
Proceed through the airport and follow the signs for I-95 South. Take 495 West towards Silver Spring to Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue South) towards Washington, D.C. Proceed South on Connecticut Avenue for approximately 5 miles. The National Zoo will be on your left. Proceed another 5 blocks and make a right onto Calvert Street. The hotel will on your left.
