Forgotten Children Events
San Francisco, CA: April 7-9, 2010
National CASA and California CASA will be producing a Keeping Our Promises event in San Francisco April 7-9. CASA staff and volunteers will place 433 Forgotten Children child displays in City Hall Plaza on April 7-8, then in Union Square on April 9. The 433 displays represent the average number of 433 San Francisco children who enter foster care each year.
Atlanta, GA: April 16-17, 2010
In conjunction with the National CASA Annual Conference, National CASA and Georgia CASA will hold a Forgotten Children event in Atlanta April 16-17. Community partners and advocates from across the country will come together to place 571 child displays in Woodruff Park. The 571 displays represent the average number of Georgia children who enter foster care every month.
