National CASA In-Person Trainings

No in-person trainings are scheduled at this time. 

Knowing Who You Are is a two-day workshop based on a training curriculum developed by Casey Family Programs that explores the racial and ethnic identity development on youth in care, as well as of the professionals and volunteers who work with them.

Training of Facilitators is a two- to three-day workshop designed to strengthen facilitation skills of staff members responsible for facilitating pre-service and in-service volunteer training.

Overview of the Peer Coordinator Model: This webinar provides overview of a new service model that has been used by CASA programs to increase recruitment and retention of volunteers and deepen everyone's relationship with the organization. You will learn to leverage existing volunteers and understand coaching and motivation techniques. The webinar also provides an introduction to “change management,” “emotional intelligence,” “continuous improvement,” and “culture of inquiry.”
