Office Depot Foundation

The National CASA Association is proud to be a partner in the Office Depot Foundation National Backpack Program, through which Office Depot donates backpacks containing essential school supplies to deserving children. This year, CASA programs in five urban areas will receive 22,000 backpacks, bringing the total number of backpacks donated to National CASA for distribution to children served by CASA programs to nearly 100,000.

Since 2001, the Office Depot Foundation has donated 2 million backpacks to nonprofit organizations throughout the world. The backpacks are intended to give children basic tools they need to succeed in school.
