Community Partners: Kappa Alpha Theta and Omega Delta Phi
Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity

Since 1989, the women of Kappa Alpha Theta have been standing up and speaking up for abused and neglected children through their support of National CASA and CASA programs across the country. Kappa Alpha Theta and its members are making lasting contributions as leaders, financial supporters and passionate ambassadors for the CASA mission. The fraternity’s 125 college-based chapters and 190 alumnae chapters are generous supporters of the National CASA network of local programs. In 2009 alone, Kappa Alpha Theta chapters gave more than $440,000 to CASA programs in their communities.

National CASA CEO Michael Piraino and members of Kappa Alpha Theta at the fraternity’s 2010 Grand Convention CASA Starlight Walk. Nearly 700 members of the fraternity walked under the stars to benefit the Pima County CASA Support Council.
The Theta Starlight Walk was a wonderful opportunity to experience the enthusiasm and commitment of the Theta women. Their collective passion about wanting to help children was inspiring, and the CASA organization is very fortunate to have their support. While listening to former foster youth Christa Drake tell her story, the room was so quite you could hear a pin drop. It was clear that the women of Theta were inspired and motivated to help make a difference for youth in foster care.

Omega Delta Phi Fraternity
Omega Delta Phi Fraternity has chosen CASA as its national philanthropic partner. Omega Delta Phi (ODPhi), founded in 1987, strives to initiate and actively participate in long-term partnerships that help the 45 chapters strengthen connections with their local communities.
ODPhi brothers have the opportunity to support their local CASA programs through service and fundraising efforts. The primary goal of National CASA's partnership with Omega Delta Phi is to assist in recruiting needed volunteers and securing additional financial support for local CASA programs.
